Delhi Chandigarh Manali Tour
Day 01:Delhi - Chandigarh
Morning start from Delhi drive to Chandigarh which is 4-5 Hours drive on arrival in Chandigarh check in Hotel afternoon Chandigarh sightseeing visit Rock Garden, Leisure valley, Rock garden, Sukhna Lake, Open hand monument & Capitol complex, back to Hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 02:Chandigarh - Jammu
Morning leave from Chandigarh drive towards Jammu via Pathankot which is 353 Kms and will take 5-6 Hours drive, on arrival in Jammu check in Hotel, forenoon visit Raghunath Temple, Bagh-e-Bahu fort & Amar Singh Fort, evening back to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03:Jammu - Srinagar
Morning leave for Srinagar which is 290 Kms and will take 6-7 Hours drive on the way stop at Patnitop to see the panoramic view and continue drive to Jawahar Tunnel which is 2.5 Kms long, and after driving through tunnel you will enter Kashmir Valley and will see Green rice fields and saffron fields, on arrival in Srinagar Check in Houseboat for overnight stay.
Day 04::- Srinagar - Gulmarg - Srinagar 1 hour drive and 56 Kms
Morning day trip to Gulmarg one of the most beautiful summer / winter resorts in the valley. One can have a Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg to have a real view in natural beauty of the summer and full snow view in winter. The most beautiful visiting places in Gulmarg is the temple & 150 years old St Mary's Church, You can have a pony ride in the open fields to seven springs and to a lake, which remains frozen until June, return back to Srinagar visit famous Mughal Gardens the Nishat Bagh (The Garden of Pleasure), Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring) & Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love), evening back and visit Floating Garden, Lotus Garden, Char Chinar, Kaboter Khana (Pigeon Palace) and inside of the Lake, Overnight stay at Houseboat.
Day 05:Srinagar- Sonamarg - Kargil (205 Kms)
Leave in the morning and drive to Kargil by Jeep, road passes through the panoramic village reach Sonamarg (2740 Mtrs). After Sonamarg, most rough road and wet Zojila pass 3527 Mtrs (Gateway of Ladakh). Continue drive towards Drass (the second coldest inhibited place in the world) we stop here for tea and passport check. Another two and half hours drive will take us to Kargil (2710 Mtrs) which does have its importance after opening of Ladakh for tourists in 1974, on arrival check in Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 06:Kargil - Leh (235 Kms)
Leave in the morning full day drive to Leh today we have to ascend three passes this day will be tiresome but panoramic too. First Buddhist village will be Mulbek (Future Buddha which is famous for Chamba). We have to cross the highest pass (Fotila 13749 ft.) on Srinagar Leh route. At lunchtime, we will be at Lamayuru oldest Monastery. Continue drive to next village Nimu a view of Zanskar River following into Indus. Finally, we reach Leh 3500 Mtrs. On arrival check in Hotel for Overnight stay.
Day 07:Leh - Khardongla - Sarchu
After an early breakfast, proceed for a Khardongla top World's highest motorable road at 18380 feet and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of world Records. At the top enjoy the beauty of snow capped mountains, continue drive to visit Shey Monastery & Thiksey Monastery, after visit continue drive towards Sarchu which is 250 Kms from Leh, via Upshi and we have to cross second highest motorable pass in world (Tanglangla Pass 5350 Mtrs.). Enjoy the nature beauty of the mountains continue drive and you can take chance to see tiny colonies of Marmots, Yaks & Herbs. At Pang you will be stop for lunch, continue drive to Lachungla pass 5065 Mtrs. Rugged in the middle of the mountains. On arrive in Sarchu overnight stay in Camp at located on 4200 Mtrs.
DAY 08:Sarchu - Manali
After an early breakfast, proceed for Manali which is 147 Kms via Baralachla Pass (4890m) & Rohtang Pass (3978 m), on arrive in Manali check in Hotel for overnight stay.
DAY 09:Manali - Delhi
After an early breakfast, proceed for Delhi via Kullu which is 585 Kms and 6-7 Hours Drive on arrives in Delhi transfer to Airport in time to board flight for further destinations."Tour Ends but sweet memories remain."
