Char Dham

Holy pilgrimages of India-Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath, collectively referred to as the Char Dham (or Four Holly Pilgrimage Centers) of Hinduism. Four Dhams are located in the state of Uttranchal in North India. It is believed that Goddess Ganga descended upon the earth in the form of river to help the suffering humanity. It was split into four channels that include Alaknanda (in Badrinath), Mandakini (in Kedarnath), Bhagirathi (in Gangotri) and Yamuna (in Yamunotri). All the places are the peace and tranquility for countless tourists.

Day 01:New Delhi to Haridwar (215 Kms 4 to 5 Hrs Drive)

Arrive New Delhi, assistance on arrival by our local representative & later proceed to Haridwar. On arrival to Haridwar transfer to Hotel, evening free at leisure for the famous Ganga Aarti, overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 02:Haridwar to Barkot (230 Kms 7 to 8 Hrs Drive)

After early b/fast proceed to Barkot. Enroute can enjoy delicious lunch at Mussoorie. Barkot is a place of great scenic beauty with spectacular views of snow-capped mountains all around. A magnificent view of the eternal snow peaks of Bandar punch can be seen from here. On arrival transfer to the Camp at Barkot, overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 03:Barkot Yamunotri - Barkot (37 Kms Motorable + 7 Kms Trek)

Again after an early b/fast leave for Hanuman Chatti (Drive 32 kms) to start your journey. Take a local jeep to reach Phool Chatti to shorten your trek by 5 Kms. On Arrival start your day on a tough trek of 7 Kms one side. Arrive at Yamunotri and pray at temple and also take a holy Achman to start your most scared pilgrimage to Char Dhams. You can take a holy dip in the nearby tank filled by hot springs & cook rice in its water, the common rituals performed by the devotees. Come back to Phool Chatti in the evening to return back to Barkot at the Camp for dinner & relaxation with Ayurvedic Massage.

Day 04:Barkot - Harsil (150 Kms Motorable 6 to 7 Hrs drive)

After a relaxed breakfast leave for Harsil a drive of 150 Kms. On the way stop at Gangnani for hot water spring dip, restart to reach Harsil, one of the most beautiful valleys in the world, on arrival transfer to the Camp Harsil, Overnight stay at Harsil.

Day 05:Excursion to Gangotri (25 Kms one way)

After breakfast proceed for Gangotri and on arrival take a holy dip in the River sacred the Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja after that and relax for sometime in the lovely surroundings. Evening return back to Harsil to relax in the bright sunshine and some of breathtaking views of the valley beautiful, evening can perform a Ganga Aarti at the resorts river Banks, overnight a relaxed breakfast leave for Harsil a drive of 150 Kms. On the way stop at Gangnani for hot water spring dip, restart to reach Harsil, one of the most beautiful valleys in the world, on arrival transfer to the Camp Harsil, overnight stay at Harsil.

Day 06:Harsil to Guptkashi (285 Kms 9 to 10 Hrs drive)

After a very early breakfast leave for the longest journey of the trip on the road. On arrival transfer to the Camp Guptkashi, overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 07:Guptkashi to Kedarnath (32 Kms Motorable +14 Kms Trek)

After early proceeds for Gaurikund, on arrival start your journey on the tough trek ahead, one arrival transfer to the Hotel. After freshening up perform Pooja and also Darshan at the Shri Kedarnath Ji. In the evening also visit Adi Shankrachariya Samadhi at the back of the Temple, overnight stay at Kedarnath.

DAY 08:Kedarnath to Guptkashi (14 Kms Trek +32 Kms Motorable)

After breakfast start you journey back to Gaurikund and on arrival proceed for Guptkashi, on arrival transfer to the Camp, overnight stay at Guptkashi.

DAY 09:Guptkashi to Joshimath via Chopta (175 Kms 6 to 7 Hrs drive)

After breakfast leave for Joshimath via Chopta, one of the most beautiful sites on the whole trip. Enjoy the beautiful drive through the thick medicinal forest. On arrival transfer to the Camp, overnight stay at Joshimath.

DAY 10:Joshimath - Badrinath - Joshimath (45 Kms one way)

After breakfast leave for Shri Badrinath, on arrival take the holy Darshan and spend time visiting Mana village the last village before the Tibet border, evening return back to Joshimath, overnight stay at Joshimath.

DAY 11:Joshimath to Haridwar (275 Kms 8 to 9 Hrs drive)

After breakfast proceeds to Haridwar, enroute can visit Rishikesh, on arrival transfer to the Hotel, evening free at leisure for shopping/individual activities.

DAY 12:Haridwar to New Delhi (220 Kms 4 to 5 Hrs drive)

After breakfast day free at leisure, later proceed to New Delhi for your onward destination.
